Chipotle’s Usability Test

Background

This project was completed in a course I took at Kent State University as part of their User Experience Design program.

Task

Explore the functionality of Chipotle’s ordering website by designing usability studies, recruiting participants, developing screener questions/tasks, conducting remote unmoderated sessions, creating and analyzing collected data, and generating reports on findings and recommendations. I took my data and created a presentation detailing the most important findings.

Methodology

Description of Tasks and Goals

User tasks were designed to assess the usability of Chipotle’s website. Tasks focused on the ordering process, the catering order process, and contacting customer support. A description of user tasks are as follows:

Final Report

The final report of Chipotle’s usability assessment included:

  • an executive summary

  • a brief summary of the study

  • a detailed analysis of tasks completed

  • and key findings
